Since 2000, Hong Kong SAR government had done a few initiatives as to appease the UN Human Rights Committee but short to protect sexual minorities in law.
In 2008, the sexual orientation discrimination still exists and records of discriminative acts increased.
This year, the Tongzhi community would stand again that we want equality in rights, and the protection in law is needed more than ever!
The For-My-Colours has activated the Legislative Council Redress System and made a formal complaint against the Council for not protecting the rights of sexual minorities, as the statement that would go down in history, we urgent those who are concerns to join this meeting with the Legislators in the Complaint Committee
Date: 7 May 2009 (Thursday)
Gathering time: 8:30 am (If no one is late, then we walk up to the building and pass the security, we would make to the 9:15 meeting on time)
Meeting place: Central MTR Station Exit K
Legislators already responded and would attend the meeting: Emily Law, Margaret Ng, Leung Kwok Hung, Cyd Ho.
Remark: Meeting would end at 10:15am; follows by an action that would last for half an hour, all participants are welcome!

1)Request for leave or ask coworker to switch schedule with you so that you could attend the 7 May meeting
2)Call your close friends to do the same, take leave so that you could attend the meeting

2)To study the need for hate crime law in Hong Kong
3)To discipline and restrict discriminative action by legislators who insight hatred toward sexual minorities as a public figure and openly oppose international human rights treaties.
